Coaching Staff

Emina Zvizdich | Assistant Coach

Emina Zvizdich is entering her fifth season as an assistant coach for the Elmhurst women's soccer team.

Zvizdich has been active with local soccer clubs since 1997. She's served as a staff coach with the Palatine Celtic Soccer Club for 17 seasons and also spent four years as the Director of Player Development for that organization. She is currently the Technical Director with the Team Elmhurst Soccer Club, coaches in the Olympic Development Program for Illinois, and is part of the Coaching Education Program instructional staff for the Illinois Youth Soccer Association.  

Zvizdich earned a bachelor's degree from Miami University in Ohio and spent four seasons as a member of the women's soccer team, serving as team captain during her senior year. She earned a Master of Science degree in education from Northern Illinois University and holds a USSF B license, along with a a Premier diploma and the Level 1 & 2 Goalkeeper diplomas from the NSCAA.

 


James Van Artsdalen | Assistant Coach

James Van Artsdalen is entering his first year as an assistant coach with the Elmhurst women's soccer team. Van Artsdalen will work with the Bluejays' goalkeepers.

Van Artsdalen has served as a private goalkeeper coach since 2010 and holds USSF D and E licenses. At the club level, he has coached with the Springfield Thunder (U17,U18), Elgin Kickers and Lombard Firebirds. He has also been a goalkeeper coach for the Illinois Olympic Development Program.

Van Artsdalen played collegiate soccer at both Lake Forest College and Wittenberg University. At Wittenberg, he served as a two-year starter in goal and finished as the conference saves leader each season.

He holds a USSF E and D licenses.

 


Sarah Dobrowolski | Graduate Assistant Coach

Sarah Dobrowolski is in her first season as a graduate assistant women's soccer coach at Elmhurst.

Dobrowolski spent four years as a member of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside women's soccer team. Serving as the team's goalkeeper, including starting 17 games during the 2015 season, Dobrowolski posted career totals of a 1.39 goals against average with five shutouts.
